Malaysia authorities allow students to return home

Malaysia's government has allowed higher education students who are on campuses to return home, Antara reports. During the discussions, it was decided to allow students to move from Monday, April 27, 2020. Travel times are limited from 21:00 pm to 9:00 am to guarantee safe movements. Students will be examined before boarding the bus, provided with food and masks. In buses will observe social distance. Students will be taken to the government office closest to their homes, then local staff will take them home, Higher Education Minister Norani Ahmad said. According to the Minister, students who have their own vehicles can go home on their own under a number of conditions. According to the news agency, the Government of Malaysia extended the period of restrictions on movement in the country to stop the spread of the COVID-19 epidemic until 12 May 2020.
