The Foreign Minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina held a meeting with a colleague from Austria

On 26 September, the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bizera Turkovic, held a meeting in Vienna with the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Austria, Alexander Schalenberg, which discussed the extension of the agreement on free education of Bosnian students in Austria, dual citizenship, the implementation of 14 priority conditions for European integration, the migration crisis and other important topics. This was reported by the Bosnian news agency Dnevni avaz. Turkovic asked her colleague to check whether something could be done so that students from Bosnia and Herzegovina would again have the opportunity to study for free in Austria, since the relevant agreement had recently expired. Schalenberg promised to discuss this issue with his colleague and coordinate work with the Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Vienna. Diplomats also exchanged information on the crisis situation in both countries caused by the global coronavirus pandemic and assessed the number of infected, testing mechanisms, border opening and the economic situation in the countries.
