Businessman Dzhemali Soselia was abducted by unknown persons in Abkhazia. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the republic. According to investigators, on September 5 at about 22:00 in the village of Rech, Tkuarchalsky district, a group of masked armed men stopped a car with an entrepreneur and drove with him to the Gals district, located on the border with Georgia. Not far from the Inugr-hydroelectric station, they beat the kidnapped, and then continued the road. It is reported that the attackers spoke Megrelian, the most common language in Western Georgia. It was established that the suspects and the abducted citizen on foot through the forest belt proceeded up to the border restriction, the Ministry of Internal Affairs said in a statement. A criminal case has been opened. Employees of the prosecutor's office of the Galsky district, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the State Security Service of the republic joined the investigation.
