Ambassador of Ukraine to Germany invited Schroeder to make a bet on Crimea

Crimea will return to Ukraine during the life of former German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder, Ukrainian Ambassador to Germany Andrei Melnik said, suggesting a policy to make a bet. Melnik called Schroeder a lobbyist for militaristic Moscow, which fails to achieve the lifting of anti-Russian sanctions by the European Union due to the strong solidarity of the Federal Government of Germany and the entire German society in its indestructible support for Ukraine. We remind that earlier the former Chancellor of Germany Gerhard Schroeder gave an interview Tagesspiegel, in which he called for the lifting of anti-Russian sanctions, and also stressed that no Russian president will return Crimea to Ukraine. According to the news agency, Crimea joined Russia in 2014 following a referendum. The reason for the referendum was the armed coup d 'état in Kiev, which destroyed legitimate power in Ukraine.
