89 cases of coronavirus infection detected in Northern Macedonia

The Ministry of Health of Northern Macedonia reported on 1 June that a survey of 727 samples in the country had revealed 89 new cases of coronavirus infection. Another 17 patients were found to have been cured. According to Albanian news agency Telegrafi Maqedoni, a total of 2,315 cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the country. The disease was won by 1,569 people. It has been established that 140 residents of Northern Macedonia died from complications caused by COVID-19, more than 20 of them in the last week. Seven patients have died in the last 24 hours. It is noted that there is an increase in the number of detected cases of infection in the country, which is associated with the gradual easing of restrictive measures and the frivolous attitude of citizens towards the requirements of the Ministry of Health.
