Immediate release: Pompeo stood up for a convicted Whelan

U.S. Secretary of state Mike Pompeo after the Moscow city court sentenced American Paul Whelan to 16 years of imprisonment and demanded his immediate release. According to the politician, American officials are outraged by the decision and believe that their citizen has no guarantees of a fair trial.
