International Film Festival opens in South Korean Pyeongchang
On June 18, the Pyeongchang International Peace Film Festival opened in South Korea, KBS reports. This year, 96 paintings from 34 countries will be shown at the festival. The festival was opened by the drama of the German director Torsten Klein The Adventures of the Mathematician. It is known that within the framework of the festival there will be an exhibition of North Korean content and works of domestic directors that are not presented to the general public, as well as master classes and talk shows with women directors. It is noted that foreign directors whose films will be presented at the festival were unable to take part in an international event due to the coronavirus pandemic. The closing ceremony will take place on June 23.
