In Uzbekistan, proposed to strengthen the reporting of charitable organizations

The Ministry of Justice of Uzbekistan proposed to introduce a new standard for transparency of public organizations and foundations operating in the field of charity, the Kun.uz agency reported on August 31. In particular, it is proposed to introduce increased requirements for periodic reporting of charities on expenditures. It is expected that the publication of such reports will strengthen public control. According to the news agency, in early April 2020, a sponsorship coordination center was opened in Uzbekistan.
