Samsung spoke about the speed of the new SSD-drive 980 Pro


Samsung said that its new generation 980 Pro SSD will be able to provide data transfer speeds of up to 7 thousand megabytes per second. This was announced on September 1 by PC Gamer magazine. The publication notes that this indicator is higher than that of the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 drives, but there is one nuance. For the 980 Pro to achieve this speed, it must be installed on a motherboard that supports PCI Express 4.0. And so far there are only two offers from AMD on the market: X570 and B550 boards. It is worth noting that Samsung first introduced the SSD 980 Pro at the CES exhibition in January 2020. In June 2020, insiders announced that the company would release this drive to the market within two months.

Stardew Valley developer's new computer desk pleased fans

The creator of the famous indie hit Stardew Valley Eric Barone eventually did buy himself a good computer table. This was brought to the attention of PC gamer magazine on April 17.
